East Anglia
INTRODUCTION
East Anglia is the U.K's driest and sunniest region. It is made
up of the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk,
Cambridgeshire and Essex.
You can find picturesque countryside, historical cities, traditional
market towns, timeless quaint villages and coastal towns, country
houses and halls, a lake district (The Norfolk Broads) and a
widely varying coastline. East Anglia is one of the most unspoilt
parts of the U.K. and has something for every visitor. England's
Industrial Revolution passed East Anglia by, and the landscape
has not really changed over time. Thatched cottages, windmills
and medieval churches are scattered in abundance in this most
rural of English settings. East Anglia can proudly boast a pleasant
pace of life and rural tranquility. Only a short distance from
London, East Anglia is a part of England you should try not to
miss. Come along and see for yourself.
